We had started our journey with our first Great Dane, Scarlett, a blue female.  We never realized how beautiful she would be and how much she would mean to our family (particularly me) until we brought her home.  We decided to look for another Dane and agreed that Bane, a merle male, would be a wonderful addition, plus keep Scarlett company.  The two have been inseparable ever since.  I had always wanted a fawn female, and totally fell in love with our 3rd Dane, Luna.  She's a bit shy than the other two, but she loves us and we love her, all the same.  We stumbled upon our 4th Dane, a harlequin male who was just a goofy, full of life and playful, handsome boy.  And so we welcomed Bruce to our family.  Bane and Luna had their first litter of pups in January of 2018, and we decided to keep a happy black female we named Ella, from that litter. We just recently purchased another blue female, the summer of 2018,  and named her Lola.

We believe in order to breed quality, healthy and temperamentally sound puppies, the parents need to be healthy, happy and temperamentally sound.   We believe in discipline, love and affection along with exercise and the right nutrition.  We decided to feed our Danes a raw diet, where they eat a variety of meat, bones and organs.   This helps with many issues associated with having large breed dogs such as allergies, digestion issues and dental problems. (For more information see our "Nutrition" tab)
We also do health testing on every one of our Danes to ensure they are as healthy as possible.  (For more information on Health Testing, please see our "All About Health Tests" tab).  Nutrition, Health and Temperament are at the utmost importance for our breeding program.
Our Bane is also our therapy boy, who loves to travel to a local elderly facility.  There, he is able to comfort and enjoy the residents and staff.  He truly loves his work days.  We have had many puppies go on to become therapy dogs and believe this is a fantastic avenue for you as a pet owner as well as your Dane.  CGC (Canine Good Citizen) is a wonderful way to encourage well obedience with your Dane.  Also puppy classes at a local Pet Smart or other facility helps ensure the bond you and your pet will have now and in the future.  A well behaved Dane is a marvel to see.

We hope you will be interested in our Dane family and hope you will choose to be a part of it either by the love of Danes themselves or by the purchase of one of our pups from Luna, Scarlett or Ella in the future.  It is our hope, that we will continue to breed these beautiful, healthy pets and continue to grow and learn continuously about this amazing breed.
